Private Event Policies and Procedures

While both Racquet Club Ladue Board of Governors and staff are pleased to accommodate your event at our outstanding facilities; there are a few policies that we must enforce when in the planning stages.

  • The hosting member must make the initial contact with the club regarding any private function.

  • Charges must be billed through the sponsoring member’s account. Payment arrangements may be made directly with the Club for a sponsored event. However, RCL does not accept cash for payment. While we do accept credit cards, there's a small fee associated with card payment.

  • A deposit may be required on some events that require a contractual agreement.

  • The hosting member agrees to be responsible for any damages to the clubhouse and the grounds surrounding, as well as any uncollected balance for the event.

  • A UBIT sheet, stating the party and payment type, will be provided by a staff member and is required to be completed by the hosting member in order for the club to comply with non-profit tax laws. We appreciate your cooperation!

  • Valet parking is required for parties of over 75 people. Valet parking can be arranged for parties less than 75 if desired by the host. The banquet coordinator will be more than happy to reserve this service for you.

  • A manager must approve entertainment and any use of buses in advance.

  • The use of name tags must be approved by a club manager.

  • Political fund raisers/events are not permitted.

  • No public media coverage (print or electronic) is permitted.

  • Signage may not be posted at the main entry.

  • The exchange of cash is not permitted for any reason.

  • In accordance with state law, no one under the age of 21 will be permitted to drink alcoholic beverages.

  • Please help us serve you better by presetting a menu for parties of 12 or more.

  • 22.5% Gratuity is added to all food and beverage.


Menu Selections
RCL specializes in making your vision a reality. We will meet with you to create a menu specifically designed for you. Need Ideas? Allow our team to propose a menu based on your group, budget, and the season!

*Chef asks for final menu selections a minimum of two weeks prior to your event.

Specialty Menus for Small Groups
Planning an anniversary dinner, a special night out with your spouse, a family dinner, or a night with great friends or prospective business clients? Allow us to create a custom menu just for you. 


*Chef requests a minimum of three days (more for specialty items) to custom create your menu.


Wine Pairings
Don’t forget about the RCL cellar. Contact Jarred Barry for assistance with pairing wines with your customized menu!


Your final guest count should be received by the Club 72 hours prior to the event. Additionally, when a pre-ordered, choice menu is offered, final entrée counts including guest names are due 72 hours prior to your event. The Club will charge for the maximum number of guests guaranteed or the actual number of guests in attendance, whichever is greater.
